Beauty Tips & Secrets for Summer

Beauty is a part of the women. Beauty is defined as a prominent practice of optimistic expression associated to one’s own survival. Eye liner is a makeup that is used to better define the eyes. Eyes are not just a part of your face but they are very important feature as well. Eyeliner can make even the smallest eyes appear larger. The eyeliner is there to help you out in this regard. Eyebrows play an important role in heightening the beauty of eyes. Perfect eyebrows almost transcend the beauty of the face and make an immediate visible impact in a makeover session. Eyebrows are shaped and colored all the time. Today, there are a variety of pencils for the eyebrows, in different colors and brands. Your hair reflects your general health. Eating a healthy, well-balanced diet is important for healthy hair. There are certain specific foods that are important for healthy hair. Don't use hair removing lotion on your eyebrows. Also, it is perfectly normal for hair to grow quickly on your eyebrows.

Summer, like winter, requires it's own special beauty tips. During the summer your skin can change quite a bit. It's usually a few shades darker (hopefully from self-tanner only, of course), oilier due to heat and humidity or a bit parched in dry heat climates which can upset your tried-and-true makeup and skin care routine.A good water-resistant sunscreen, with an SPF of 15 or higher, should be applied to dry skin at least 15 minutes before going outdoors. It should be reapplied after swimming or spending any length of time in the sun. Certain foods and beverages, such as herbal teas, avocados, and fruit, help in purifying and nourishing the skin in summer. Spicy or hot foods should be avoided if you plan on spending any length of time outdoors, as these may cause skin irritations or inflammations. Drinking lots of water is absolutely essential to replenish moisture lost to the drying effects of the sun.

Summer Beauty Tips

1. Skin tends to get oilier in summer.

2. Use lighter facial skin care products to avoid clogging your pores.

3. Rehydrate your skin after exposure to the sun, sand and salt at the beach.

4. Protect your skin from the sun. The sun's UV rays can cause skin cancer, so be wise and use sunblocks.

5. Apply a bit of conditioner to hair before shampooing, concentrating on ends.

6. Be sure to get a trim every 4-6 weeks to keep ends healthy.

7. Apply 3 tablespoons of olive oil to dry hair. Let sit for up to an hour, wash thoroughly.

8. Hair needs protection from the sun just like the skin. Use a shampoo and conditioner that contains sunscreen.

9. Never Underestimate the Power of Moisturizer.

5 Cheap Tanning Lotion Tips For Summer

With summer approaching, it's time to pull out the tanning lotion yet again. It's not cheap though, is it? So here are a few tips to help make your bottle of bronze stretch a little further this tanning season.

Pay attention to application. To apply tanning products most effeciently, begin working on a small area. Then, softly and in an even manner, rub in the product - but not too generously.

If you work your way out to other areas in a swirling, but still gentle and even rub, rather than going in an up-and-down direction, you will stretch your product further and still have the same level of effectiveness.

Getting to those hard to reach areas like your back may require an extra hand.

Diluting is OK. When using these lotions on more sensitive areas like your knees, feet, hands and elbows, either dilute first with a moisturizing lotion or use very small amounts when gently rubbing in.

Rubbing with a make-up sponge applicator works well for these areas, too. Doing this will help prevent build up, irritation and waste.

Remember to use sunblock too! Many tanning lotions do not contain any level of SPF protection. Remember the basics, long and light clothes and high SPF sunblock to protect your skin at the same time.

If you make an effort and follow these tips, a little bit of lotion will go a long way, so slow and steady does it.

Summer Beauty Tips - Getting Ready For Swimsuit Season

Summer's round the corner. You know what that means. Bikini season. Even now, in Spring, shorts are back. More skin is exposed as temperatures soar. Does that make you nervous?

If you're fine with that, good for you. For the rest of us, it is time to take stock of the past season's excesses. That roll of flab. Pasty skin. How would that look in a swim suit? Forget the swimsuit, how would that look in shorts and a tank top?

Let's start with the easy part. Getting your skin soft, silky and touchable. All you need is a scrub and a moisturizer. A simple daily rubdown in the shower with dead sea salts would slough off the dead skin cells beautifully. If your skin is dry, then you could mix dead sea salt with olive oil into the paste after your shower. Rub all over your body and rinse off. It is rather messy but effective.

After every shower slather on some moisturizer all over your body. It would leave your skin soft and touchable. Get into the habit of caring for your skin all over before summer so when the time comes, your skin would be lovely.

Getting your skin radiant is the easy part. The tough part is getting your body sleek enough for that bikini.

You have three possible options.

Leave it. Who cares? It's your body anyway.
Fake it. You might even get through the entire Spring and Summer without anyone knowing.
Get in shape so you'd be able to flaunt what you've got. There's still time if you start now.

If you prefer the first option, then go ahead.

If the second option appeals to you, you could invest in shapewear. You know, control tops stockings, girdles, the works and wear them all under your summer clothes to hide it all under a long skirt. If you arms bother you, then you could wear long billowy sleeves as camouflage. If you have to get into the water, look for a full swimsuit that would hold in your tummy. Or you could hold your breath until you get into the water and hold your breath until you get to the changing room and back into your fat binding arsenal.

You can hide only so much. It would be better if you whip your body in shape. If you start exercising now and eating moderately, you'd make enough progress by summer to be proud of the way you look in your swim suit. Personally, I prefer tae bo as it gives visible results quickly. Plus it is a lot more fun than jogging on the treadmill or doing repitive exercises in the gym. In any case, pick a workout system you find enjoyable and can stick with through summer.

Exercise alone isn't going to help if you eat like a pig. I have a problem with my weight and it stems from my emotional eating. The doctor said I had to lose weight for health reasons and the only way I'd succeed was if I had my mouth sewn shut. I didn't of course, but do try to moderate my food intake. Having a food journal where you record down everything you eat and drink (yes, drinks can contain a lot of calories) then tallying up the number of calories you've consumed can be quite an eye opener. Do that. Then decide what you're going to cut down in order to lose weight.

Now on to the pasty skin issue. Forget about baking yourself in the sun. Exposure to those UV rays would only increase your chances of getting skin cancer. Do what the celebrities do. Spray on your tan, or at least smooth it on with a sunless tanning lotion. Do it after exfoliating your skin as these self tanners work by coloring the dead skin cells on the surface of your skin. If your skin is flaky, the tan would be patchy.

Start now and you'll more than happy to face summer in your bikini.

How to Get Rid Of Wrinkles

During this procedure, an intense beam of light energy (laser) is directed at the area you want treated. The laser beam destroys the outer layer of skin (epidermis). At the same time the laser heats the underlying skin (dermis), which stimulates the growth of new collagen fibers. As the wound heals, new skin forms that's smoother and tighter.
Treatment with this medicine may cause your body to form antibodies that may make future treatments less effective. You should receive the lowest effective dose, with at least 3 months between shots. Injections in the muscles close to the eyes may cause you to blink less. This may harm your eyes. Your health care provider may prescribe eye drops, ointment, soft contact lenses, or an eye patch to protect your eyes until the medicine has worn off enough for you to be able to blink normally again.

Wrinkles around the eyes, often called crow's feet, are categorized by doctors as dynamic wrinkles because they develop largely from years of contracting the muscles that display our emotions when we smile, squint, deeply consider, show surprise or laugh. If you've developed such wrinkles yourself, we're happy to hear that life has dealt you so many rich emotional experiences!

The treatment works by stimulating the skin repair itself. The laser is used to repair damage from chronic sun exposure and improve texture, color, fine lines and even deep lines. The breakthrough technique is ideal for uneven pigment, texture, fine lines, acne scars and darkening skin on the upper neck. Although the face is the most common area treated, the technique can also be used on delicate skin areas such as the neck, chest and hands.

Antioxidants are substances that act as scavengers of oxygen-free radicals, unstable particles that can damage the body's cells and even their genetic material. The most well-known antioxidants are vitamins A, C, E, coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10), and beta carotene. There is some evidence that lotions and creams containing antioxidants may help protect the skin when applied before sun exposure. Scientific studies will be needed to learn if they are actually beneficial. The substance silymarin, found in the milk thistle family (which includes artichokes), may inhibit UVB-promoted cancers in animals. Aloe, lemon oil, and coral extracts contain antioxidants and are promoted as being healthy for the skin, although evidence of their effects on wrinkles is weak.

Treatment with botulinum toxin A is a modern and particularly effective method. Botulinoum toxin A is a purified protein with which muscles may be weakened for a limited period. Once the resting tone of the treated muscles is weakened, the pull of the muscles relaxes and the overlying skin flattens. Thus, botulinum toxin A is in particular indicated in treatment of wrinkles in the upper third of the face. Treatment needs to be repeated every 3-4 months.

Prevents aging of the skin induced by repeated facial movements mediated by excessive catecholamines release.

Microdermabrasion technique is similar to dermabrasion, but less surface skin is removed. It's done using a vacuum suction over your face while aluminum oxide crystals essentially sandblast your skin. Only a fine layer of skin is removed. You may notice a slight redness to the treated areas. Microdermabrasion usually requires repeated treatments to maintain the subtle, temporary results.

Natural Ways To Improve Your Breast Size

The rise in the popularity of Barbie dolls has contributed to the change in the concept of beauty in the modern world. Although ladies with big breasts have always been admired and ogled upon by both men and women, many are contented with the bosoms that nature has endowed them. Nowadays, however, it seems that women, both young and old, are pining for cup D-sized breasts in order to feel beautiful and complete. All over the world, the breast enhancement industry is thriving and continually expanding.
If you are one of the girls who have been teased because of your small breasts, you do not have to worry. Breast augmentation surgery is not the only way for you to increase your breast size. There are safer and more natural ways to make your pair appear bigger and fuller than they really are. Read on and discover how you can enhance your breasts the natural way.

Maximize With Exercise

Your grandmother or mother probably knew about the "I must increase my bust" exercise that has become popular in the 60s. Since breasts are made up of fat, this move does not really help in making your boobs bigger. However, it helps a lot in strengthening and firming your chest muscles, which is just underneath your breasts. Strong and well-toned chest muscles actually help make your boobs appear bigger and firmer. So even if bust exercises do not directly augment the size of your breasts, they are still helpful.

Doing push ups is the best strengthening workout for chest muscles. In order to target the correct muscles, you just have to make sure that your hands are aligned to your breasts and not to your shoulders. If you cannot perform push ups with your toes on the floor, you can always use your knees. However, once you have built strength, it is advisable to try doing the exercises on your toes for maximum benefits. At first, you can try to do two to three sets of about 10 repetitions.

Aside from the chest muscles, you also need to build your back muscles so that you have a better posture. Although strong back muscles do not contribute to augmenting your breasts, they help in giving you a straighter posture, which will help make your boobs look a little bigger. Back extension exercise is the best way to firm and tone your upper and lower back muscles.

The Power Of Bra

Do not underestimate the power of your bra in making your boobs look bigger. A lot of women have smaller and droopy-looking boobs because they do not know how to choose a bra that will make their boobs look bigger and fuller.

The features that you should look for in a bra are underwires, full-support cups, and solid back straps. You need underwires for maximum support, especially if you have sagging breasts. As soon as a woman reaches 30, her boobs start to droop and sag because the skin of the breasts loses elasticity. To help counter the effects of gravity on your bust, you have to always use a bra with an underwire.

Another important feature is full and supportive cup. Flimsy lace or sheer bra cups will not do you any good if your boobs are hanging down. If you want some cleavage, you can also look for full cups with removable pads on the sides and bottom.

Back straps that are wide, solid and firm are helpful in pulling your boobs up. However, thin lace and cotton straps are not that strong to help hoist up your packages in front no matter what size they are. Leave the lacy and flimsy straps to pre-teens and teenagers.

If you still feel unsatisfied after following the two boob-enhancing tips above, you can rely on breast enhancing creams and lotions for more dramatic effects. One product that a lot of women are using is Clevastin. If you want to know more about it, simply click on to http://www.clevastin.com/.

5 Tips How to Take Care of Pearl Jewelry

Pearls are an organic gemstone, meaning they're not derived from minerals, but rather from an organic source - oysters. These beautiful and unique gems are treasured all over the world for their grace, beauty, fine color and unique structure. In this article, we'll cover 5 basic care and cleaning tips that will help you maintain your pearls for generations to come. So, keep reading to learn more.
1. Never clean a pearl with alcohol or acid cleaners.

Because these gems are an organic product, alcohol and acid-based cleaners can eat right through it, damaging the pearl significantly and dramatically reducing its beauty and value.

2. Keep your strands away from chemicals.

Avoid wearing your pearls when applying chemical beauty products like hairspray, perfume or face creams. Instead, put them on after you do your makeup. These products can damage their beauty and also build up a residue film that eats away at its shell, causing it to lose its luster. Your own sweat can even cause damage, so clean your them with warm water or a dry lint-free cloth on a regular basis.

3. Protect your pearls from extreme heat, cold or sunlight.

Because these beauties can expand and contract in extreme heat or cold, it's important to protect them from the elements by keeping them in a stable environment. Repeated expansion and contraction can cause cracks in the finish and diminish their value. Also, exposure to prolonged, direct sunlight can affect its coloration and overall value.

4. Store your pearls in soft cloth.

Because these gemstones can be easily scratched by other pieces of jewelry, store them in a separate place in your jewelry box. Keep them wrapped in a soft pouch or cloth to protect them scuffing or scratching.

5. Clean these gems regularly.

You should clean the strands after every wear by wiping them with a clean, lint-free cloth. However, should they become dirty, they can be cleaned in a simple water and mild soap mixture.

Never clean your pearls with an abrasive cloth that could damage its surface. Also, don't put pearls in an ultrasonic cleaner. These cleaners are designed for use with minerals and can cause irreparable damage to organic materials like these.

You should also have your pearls professionally cleaned about once every two to three years. If you wear them on an almost daily basis, you should have them cleaned every year to retain their luster and exquisite beauty.

Acne Products to Treat Acne

Very few people are there who could spend their life without being bothered by the hideous visage of acne pimples. Fortunately in this modern age medical science has made radical improvements to provide us with numerous acne products which are not only effective in wiping out those lesions but also capable to thwart any further breakouts.
Over the Counter Acne Cures

There are some over the counter acne products that work well. The two best for most people are benzoyl peroxide, and salicylic acid.

Benzoyl peroxide destroys acne causing bacteria located deep in the pores. It has been made so available to the public in products like Proactive Acne Treatment that it is now the most common acne product on the internet.

Salicylic acid works by removing the top layers of dead skin cells. This helps the skin renew itself quickly, and reduces the chance for pore blockage and a 2nd acne breakout. The most popular product in this OTC category is Proactiv Solution sold by Guthy Renker!.

We have oil producing sebaceous glands embedded deep under the epidermal layer of our skin. These are connected to the hair follicles through narrow pilosebaceous canals. Sebaceous glands produce sebum or body oil which reaches our skin surface through pilosebaceous units to keep our cutaneous layer soft and smooth. At the onset of our pubertal age and in female body during premenstrual and pregnancy periods the male hormonal level abruptly increases. This on the other hand induces sebaceous glands to secrete excess sebum. Surplus body oil along with piles of dead skin cells clog up the hair follicles turning them into tiny microcomedones. This oily environment is a perfect breeding ground for skin dwelling bacteria Propionibacterium acnes, which is also known to be responsible for acne formation in human body. P. acnes immediately invade the blocked skin pores and proliferate there to cause irritation. Eventually infected and swelled hair follicular walls get ruptured to spill the accumulated rusty oily substance into adjacent tissue creating inflammation and different types of acne lesions.

How do I use the product?

Heal Acne treatment is applied topically onto the condition after washing the area thoroughly with a mild non soap cleanser.

The specially formulated essential oils in our product have been proven to counteract and treat acne and pimples gently and effectively.

The formula is concentrated, with only a few drops per application, acne and pimples will be eliminated.

As you have got the knowledge about the efficacy and mode of action of each of the key ingredients you should be able to select the product that you feel best suits your needs. But it is not an easy job. There are several other factors including your skin type, your food habits, and numerous complicated risk factors related to array of medications which need to be taken into account. And these you might not be able to decide alone unless you consult a professional dermatologist who would be able to guide you to select the perfect acne product considering all of the associated hazardous factors.

Acne scar treatment

Doctors may be able to use certain procedures to diminish scars left by acne. These include fillers, dermabrasion, intense light therapy and laser resurfacing.

* Soft tissue fillers. Collagen or fat can be injected under the skin and into scars to fill out or stretch the skin, making the scars less noticeable. Results from this acne scar treatment are temporary, so you'd need to repeat the injections periodically.

Scalp Acne - Getting rid of scalp pimples

Scalp acne, the mildest form of which is also known as scalp folliculitis, occurs more frequently than most people realize. Just about everyone knows what acne is and that it commonly breaks out on the face, chest, arms and on the back. But acne also appears on other parts of the body as well, and unless you're someone with acne in one of these 'other' areas, you may not have realized this.
They are marked by smaller pustules close to the hairline adjacent to the temple. However, the severity of it sometimes exceeds beyond what is expected. And in that case they need exhaustive medical supervision. Necrotica miliaris occurs when the acne condition is aggravated due to bacterial buildup. Propionibacterium acnes is the name of that bacterial microorganism that resides on our skin surface. Sebum or body oil is the substance they feed on. Therefore the clogged hair follicles, filled with trapped body oil or sebum, become their target. Once they are in, they start metabolizing on the abundant amount of sebum and proliferate there. This bacterial buildup is the chief reason why inflammation occurs within the affected skin pores. This type of severe forms of inflamed scalp acne is also triggered by the same bacterial formation.

When scalp acne is mild, these appear as small, sore and crusty and appear mainly on upper forehead at the hairline. Some people have many pustules on the hairline and some have few depending on the skin type. The most severe form of scalp acne is known as acne necrotica miliaris which appears as inflamed larger papules which is black in color.

It is very easy to handle and treat mild type of scalp acne, which usually gets cure with the help of some over the counter medications. But for a more severe type it is recommended to consult a dermatologist. A safe way of treating scalp acne is by keeping hair clean and oil free. Also it is a good idea to follow a well balanced diet that has enough fresh fruit and vegetables. Avoiding too many fatty foods containing oils and drinking a lot of water is also useful for treating scalp acne.

Dealing with scalp acne means dealing with oily hair. Acne in and around the scalp could be managed to a large extent by washing off the accumulated oil and other malicious substances from the scalp and hair strands on regular basis. Rinse off your hair normally once in every 2 or 3 days with some good conditioner based shampoo. Take care of the dandruffs, if you have any, with some good antidandruff shampoo along with some good conditioner. If your scalp is already damaged by acne lesions then always go for mild a shampoo.

Dermatological supervision and rigorous medical care becomes the only resort for those who, in spite of trying out every means of getting rid of acne on their scalps, remain in vein. Stubborn cases are usually dealt with oral antibiotics like tetracycline. Clindamycin and erythromycin are also used topically on the affected scalp areas. Mild steroids are topically applied in some exceptional cases in order to derive a quicker and more effective output. Isotretinoin is a very popular medicine for dealing with this acne on the scalp.

In the more severe cases, the best advice is to see a dermatologist. These people are the only ones that can teach you what to do when you have to deal with severe scalp acne. A product that should be avoided, when wanting to treat scalp acne is benzoyl peroxide. This substance causes hair to change color, so you may find yourself with a weird looking hair in the end. This is especially forbidden when you have a permanent treatment done to your hair or you have it color treated.
